Morro Bay To Cayucos Trail Connector

This project will be a Class I bicycle path and pedestrian corridor linking the unincorporated community of Cayucos to the City of Moro Bay. Currently the only bicycle route available between the two communities is along Highway 1 (along the highway’s shoulder). The intent of the project is to provide a scenic and safe corridor that is separate from motorized, highway traffic. This project is currently in the final design and engineering phase. The engineering phase is expected to be completed by 2017.
