Full-time/Permanent Position 

Park Ranger Aide

$32,593.60 – $39,603.20

This is a trainee-level in the career series for Park Ranger Aide, I, II and III. Park Ranger Aides work under close supervision, learning the rules, regulations, laws and departmental policies governing the operation of parks and County facilities. You will learn how to properly maintain parks, building facilities and grounds, collect money and assist the public.  You may also be assigned patrol and enforcement duties on a limited basis.

Seasonal/Temporary Positions

 Lifeguard I/II

Seasonal Employment May 28 – September 5, 2016 $12.00 – $16.77 doe

We are looking for committed individuals to work 20 – 30 hours per week at any of the following aquatic locations: Hardie Pool (Cayucos), Shamel Pool (Cambria), Santa Margarita Lake Pool, Templeton Pool, San Miguel Pool, C.W. Clarke (Shandon) Pool, and Cayucos Beach.

 

 

Golf Aide I/II

Temporary/Seasonal $10.00 – $13.59Golf Aide I and II. Golf Aides can be assigned to any of the County run golf courses: Morro Bay, Dairy Creek and Chalk Mountain. Incumbents perform a wide variety of unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled duties in the operation, and maintenance of county golf courses, open space areas, recreational areas, landscaped areas, buildings, and other related work as required.

Park Aide I/II

Seasonal Employment $10.00 – $13.59 doe

Park Aides can be assigned to any of the County run recreation areas. Incumbents perform a wide variety of unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled duties in the operation, and maintenance of county parks, beaches, lakes and other recreational areas.
